I have experienced many of the big name bike tour organizations, then I met Kim O’Flaherty, priorietress of Kim’s Life Tours. Oh my gosh!!

Kim puts her unique touch to each trip, allowing for individuals to have space and freedom to venture off on their own or be a part of a group. The hotels are quaint and personal, the group dinners promote socialization and connection. The food has been outstanding at each destination. I was pleasantly surprised with bike rentals, I’ve tried a few bikes that I maybe would have not tried before ~ the new knowledge will be applied to my next bike purchase.



Kim draws independent fun loving folks, and many have traveled with her previously. The Bonus! ~ is just being a part of the biking party. The giggles and comradely are priceless.

I've done five European bike trips with Kim over the past 10 years. Kim manages all the things most don't want to: she chooses great locations, wonderful hotels, several groups dinner each trip and finds appealing local attractions. Usually, there are more than one route per day which caters to a variety of rider skill levels. All of this is at a very reasonable price compared to the bigger touring companies. She also builds in "rest days," if you are inclined to take a day to shop or simply explore.

I have enjoyed many tours with Kim in several European countries.  I really like the freedom to be able to see the sights that interest me.  Rather than following a required route which may not go near what I would like to see, these tours often allow me to develop my own routes.  On most days we can ride together as a group or head off on our own. We typically spend more than one night in each city which provides the opportunity to explore the city, do a loop ride, or just take a day off and relax.  Our luggage is transported for us, and our hotels are usually located within walking distance of city highlights.  I look forward to my next adventure with Kim’s LifeTours.

I’m a big fan of Kim’s trips. She finds great locations, great hotels, good bikes, route options, fine evening meals, and some interesting side outings, all at a very reasonable price.  I particularly like the independence that Kim’s tours provide.  I don’t want to pay twice as much to be told where and when to be every hour of each day.

My husband and I have gone on five cycling trips with Kim. Our first trip was cycling through the Bordeaux region of France.  Since that time, we have been to Italy twice followed by Mallorca, Spain, in 2021.  On our most recent trip, we travelled through the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and France. All were wonderful experiences riding through beautiful countryside, a way to experience other countries in a way that you cannot do on a typical tour.  Kim has great connections in Europe finding interesting, highly rated hotels.  They are typically locally owned with friendly staff and a great breakfast to prepare us for the day’s ride.  The tours include some group dinners which are either at the hotel or a nearby restaurant.  I have never had a bad meal and most of the dinners have been excellent.  Our last trip included a number of multi-course meals at top rated and Michelin-star restaurants.  The rental bikes are very well made, and I have had a good experience with all the bikes I have rented. All that said, the best part of the trips are the other bikers.  The people I meet on Kim's trips are interesting, friendly and avid bikers.  I am already looking forward to her next trip to a new destination!
